DORIS delivered SURF and Export Pipeline Pre-FEED and SURF FEED to this project.
Project outline
The Trion field encompasses an area of 1,285 sq km (798 sq mi) and is located in the Perdido Fold Belt in the northern portion of the Mexican sector of the Gulf of Mexico at a water depth of approximately 2500 meters. Woodside is the operator holding a 60% interest in the development and PEMEX Exploration and Production is the non-operating partner with a 40% interest. The development includes Production Wells and Water Injection Wells tied back to a floating host facility. At the host facility the produced fluids will be processed, the oil will be offloaded, and an export pipeline will transport the gas back to shore. The produced water will be injected back into the reservoir.
This project would be in the deepest water depth ever developed in Mexico.
Services delivered by DORIS
