DORIS has developed the FEED and the Detailed Engineering of the FPU Topsides, and performed the EPCI of the mooring system

The Moho & Bilondo reservoirs lie 1750 m to 4100 m below the mud line in water depth ranging from 600 m to 900 m. DORIS designed a Floating Production Unit (FPU) moored in approximately 600 m water depth.

SERVICES PROVIDED BY DORIS:

  • Screening Studies (2000-2001)
  • Basic Engineering for a field development with FPU, topsides, flowlines and risers, and export pipelines with tie-back to existing facilities (2002-2004)
  • Detailed Engineering in cooperation with HHI for topsides design and mooring (2005-2006)
  • Procurement and contract services until order awards (2006)
  • EPCI of the mooring systems (2005-2008)

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Water depth : 600 to 900 m
  • Peak oil production : 90,000 bopd
  • Peak liquid production : 90,000 blpd
  • Produced water : 75,000 bwpd
  • Gas at FPU inlet : 2,000,000 Sm3/d (57% from Moho and 43% from Bilondo)
  • Storage capacity : 50,000 bbls
  • FPU dimensions : 188.5x34x12.5 m
  • Displacement : 43,000 t
  • FPU hull weight : 14,600 t
  • FPU topsides weight : 11,000 t
  • Number of mooring lines : 12
