Supporting the transition towards a low carbon future

The Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) market has seen huge growth in recent years with countries and developers indicating further ambitions for expansion. This expansion is not limited to onshore LNG only; offshore LNG is also drawing considerable interest for both import and export purposes.

As an independent engineering and consulting company, DORIS is the ideal partner to develop LNG terminals both onshore or offshore. Based on our long experience in gas processing, liquefaction and regasification, DORIS can engineer a complete range of LNG production and storage installations, from small to large scale, onshore to offshore.

Adding value to gas wherever possible

DORIS is prepared to support the growing LNG demand by developing innovative solutions. Possessing a range of expertise in field architecture, topsides, naval architecture and process, DORIS has capitalized on the best of its R&D and engineering capabilities to develop economically viable designs for small scale FLNG.

From the earliest phases of design, we have assisted our clients by improving the cost-effectiveness of their stranded and small gas reserve developments. We do this by implementing our range of low-cost and low-carbon, small-scale LNG solutions.

Reducing CO2 from LNG Developments

Whilst LNG is perceived as a means to further the energy transition, LNG developments are not carbon neutral. Greenhouse gases (GHG) are released from potential leaks of methane, through the CO2 content of the treated gas, and from the energy-intensive process used to produce the final liquid product.

DORIS is able to reduce the GHG footprint of LNG developments by drawing on our process expertise and environmental experience. We leverage our technological partnerships to deliver a range of solutions to our clients to enable GHG reduction, from carbon capture and electrification through to design adaptations to close flares.
