DORIS is pleased to have served as one of the main partner of the 2nd edition of the Next Gen’Ergy Congress, which took place on 17 and 18 March 2026 in Paris. This two-day event, organised by the Young Committee of EVOLEN, brought together students, young professionals, experts and senior executives from across the energy industry to collectively explore the challenges and opportunities that will define the sector in the years ahead.
Built around the theme “Bridging Generations – Fueling Transformation”, the congress was designed as a space for intergenerational dialogue, where the energy vision of tomorrow could be debated openly and honestly. The programme featured keynote addresses from industry leaders, panel discussions on policy, technology and sustainability, interactive workshops, prospective thinking sessions, and rich networking opportunities, all structured to give voice to the next generation while confronting them with the realities and ambitions of today’s energy landscape.
For DORIS, this partnership is a natural extension of who we are and what we stand for. As a member of EVOLEN and a long-standing player in the energy industry, we believe that being present at events like the Next Gen’Ergy Congress is part of our responsibility, not only to the sector, but to the professionals who will shape it.
Founded in 1965 and present in more than 17 countries, DORIS is a leader in Engineering, Advisory and Project Management for Energy. Over six decades, we have built deep expertise across the full energy spectrum: from oil and gas development to offshore wind, from hydrogen production to carbon capture and storage, from biogas to floating offshore wind. Our multidisciplinary teams deliver robust, innovative solutions across all phases of a project, from concept and FEED through to construction, commissioning and decommissioning, with an unwavering commitment to quality, safety and environmental integrity.
What sets DORIS apart is the combination of technical depth and strategic breadth. We bring together specialist engineers, advisory experts and project managers who work as one integrated team, with a shared drive to make every project better: safer, faster, cleaner, and more cost-effective. Whether supporting major operators, independent developers or national companies, DORIS delivers the kind of reliable, high-value engineering that energy projects demand.
We are also deeply committed to the energy transition. Making conventional energies cleaner and making renewable and new energies possible are not just taglines for us, they are the dual imperatives that guide our work every day. This commitment extends beyond our projects. It shapes how we think about talent, how we engage with the wider industry, and how we position ourselves as a long-term partner in a sector undergoing profound transformation.
Supporting the Next Gen’Ergy Congress reflects this broader commitment. We are proud to have stood alongside leading industry names — TotalEnergies, Technip Energies, SBM Offshore, TechnipFMC, SLB, Subsea7, Groupe Ponticelli Frères, Catering International & Services CIS, Boston Consulting Group, UniLaSalle Beauvais, IUT Pau Mont de Marsan, Le Monde des Possibles, Delta Festival, IDEX, L’Industreet, GTT and IFP School — in making this event a reality.
We congratulate the Comité Jeunes d’EVOLEN for delivering such an ambitious and inspiring congress, and we look forward to continuing to support initiatives that invest in the future of our industry.
