DORIS Engenharia Ltda performed screening and FEED of the subsea development

 

The Libra area is located in Santos Basin, Brazil, in the Pre-Salt area at a water depth of around 2,100 m. Libra field area has around 1,547.76 km2, and the block was acquired in 2013 by a  consortium formed by Petrobras (40% and operator), Shell Brasil (20%), Total (20%), CNPC (10%) and CNOOC (10%).

DEL was awarded a three year Owner Engineering contract by Petrobras, on behalf of Libra Consortium, for the production development of the Libra Block.

Services provided by DORIS:

  • Screening of subsea development alternatives for Libra field including Umbilical, Flowline and Riser Systems, Subsea Control Systems and field layout;
  • Basic of selected subsea development alternatives including design, installation, schedule, CAPEX and Local Content Estimates;
  • Elaboration of EPCI documentation;
  • Project services support including Libra EPCI subsea activities schedule, risk analyses and interface management strategy.
