In this context, DORIS Angola has currently an opportunity for Project Engineer to join and reinforce our team of specialized structural engineers, in our Luanda engineering office.
Job Description:
You will be integrated in the DORIS Engineering department and perform engineering activities related to structures.
You will be involved in a large range of projects with particular emphasis on brownfield modifications. Your main tasks may include:
- Offshore site surveys,
- Structural analysis,
- Support to drafting office for developing structural drawings,
Depending on the project needs, you may be given opportunity to experience other engineering fields.
You will be under the supervision of our Engineering Department Coordinator who will be mentoring and facilitating your integration to our team and methods.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Engineering degree or equivalent with specialization in Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Petroleum
- 2 years minimum experience in structural design in the Oil and Gas industry,
- Good working knowledge of applicable regulations, codes of practice, standards for design in the industry,
- Good relationship skills for teamwork
- Fluent English and Portuguese
