DORIS Group is actively participating in the EUROSWAC project which aims at developing a highly-efficient innovative shallow-water based Sea Water Air Conditioning (SWAC) solution for the Channel Area.  This project is partially funded by the European Union Regional Development Fund Interreg, financing projects in France and the UK.

DORIS Group entities DORIS Engineering, and partially-owned Océanide, will carry out two R&D programmes on innovative concepts to reduce the CAPEX of SWAC systems; one such innovation is the self-burying system for the cold water pipe intake to be installed from the shoreline in areas such as that illustrated on the herein picture, taken during a recent site reconnaissance.

DORIS group entity DORIS Marine will design the SWAC system and supervise its installation.  Funding from the project will be validated by Interreg by the end of June 2021. Further information is available at
